​We are working with a large UK bank to assists them in hiring a Java focussed Test Automation Engineer

In this role, you’ll be contributing to the transformation of testing using quality processes, tools, and methodologies, significantly improving control, accuracy and integrity.

It’s a chance to work with colleagues at multiple levels, and with cross-domain, domain, platform and feature teams, to build in quality as an integral part of all activities.

​

We’re looking for someone with experience of automated testing, particularly from an Agile development or CI/CD environment. It is essential that you have worked on large scale testing programmes where the systems tested can handle millions of requests / transactions per day.

Additional experience required includes:

• REST based API testing using Java and related tooling, including CI/CD pipelines and Maven

• BDD frameworks, ideally Cucumber

• Knowledge of hosted cloud environments and diagnosing testing problems in these environments, ideally AWS

This is a hybrid role and will require you to be in the London office for 2 days a week.
