You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quantitative measures such as VaR, Stress Test and Capital models to assess firm’s market risk. You must have recent financial derivatives exposure, including exotic products, have strong quantitative risk experience and advanced level Python coding skills. Working directly with the head of credit you will be responsible for analysing counterparties and transactions, helping to mentor less senior team members and presenting applications to the bank’s Credit Risk Committee. You will require recent and broad corporate banking sector exposure, have strong credit analysis skills and recent exposure to Trade and Project Finance and Commodity markets would be advantageous. The ideal candidate will have experience in reviewing the design of the risk process, whilst knowing what good looks like and making practical suggestions to improve.
