Jet Vaccum Driver - Full Time / Permanent
Location – Meopham or Manchester.
Salary to £30,000 p/a
As a Jet Vac Driver/Operator, you will be responsible for operating a Jet Vacuum Tanker to remove waste, debris, and liquids from a variety of sites, including sewers, drains, and gullies. You will work closely with the operations team to deliver high-quality service, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operating Jet Vac tankers to clean and maintain drains, sewers, and other areas as required.
Driving the vehicle to and from job sites, adhering to road safety and transport laws.
Carrying out high-pressure water jetting to remove blockages and clean surfaces.
Emptying and disposing of waste at designated disposal sites in compliance with environmental regulations.
Carrying out routine checks, maintenance, and cleaning of equipment and vehicles.
Completing all required paperwork, including job sheets and service reports.
Communicating with clients and colleagues to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and to customer satisfaction.
Adhering to company and regulatory health and safety procedures at all times.
Required Skills and Experience:
A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving license.
Previous experience operating Jet Vac tankers or similar equipment. (preferred)
Valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
High-pressure water jetting certification (preferred but not essential).
Strong knowledge of drainage systems and waste management processes.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional nights, weekends, and overtime.
