SAP S/4HANA SCM Functional Consultant

We’re supporting a leading global digital consultancy on a major S/4HANA transformation programme and are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA SCM Functional Consultant with strong hands-on expertise across MM, SD and PP.

This role sits within a large-scale S/4HANA implementation and global template rollout, with a strong focus on SCM configuration, logistics–finance integration, and data migration.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Functional Configuration

  • MM: Purchasing, Inventory Management, Valuation, Account Determination

  • SD: Order Management, Pricing, Billing, Taxes

  • PP: BOMs, Routings, Work Centres, MRP, Production Orders

SAP Data Migration – SCM (Mandatory)

  • Define SCM data migration strategy, scope and sequencing

  • Own end-to-end mappings for materials, vendors, customers, BOMs, routings, work centres, source lists, PIRs, pricing, inventory, open PRs/POs, sales orders and production orders

  • Create STM documents and define transformation/validation rules

  • Support mock loads, trial conversions and cutover

  • Perform post-load reconciliation (master data, stock, open documents)

  • Manage data defects and reload cycles

  • Support business validation and sign-off

Cross-Module Integration

  • FI–MM (GR/IR, valuation, account determination)

  • FI–SD (billing, revenue, taxes, freight)

  • PP–CO (product costing, variances, WIP)

  • End-to-end P2P, O2C, Make-to-Stock / Make-to-Order

You’ll also support SIT/UAT, resolve integration issues, and advise on S/4HANA simplifications (Material Ledger, MATDOC, Universal Journal).

Required Experience

  • Strong S/4HANA SCM background (MM/SD/PP)

  • Proven delivery on full lifecycle S/4 implementations

  • Hands-on data migration ownership within SAP programmes

  • Deep understanding of logistics–finance integration

  • Experience with global template rollouts preferred
