We’re partnering with a leading UK financial services organisation to recruit a Software Engineer with strong Java and microservices experience. The Role
As a Software Engineer, you’ll join a dedicated feature team responsible for designing, engineering and maintaining high-performance, secure and robust software solutions. You’ll work closely with engineers, architects and business analysts across the platform to deliver high-quality, customer-centric products.

Key Responsibilities
Engineering high-quality, production-ready software that delivers real business value
Contributing to the full engineering lifecycle: requirements, design, build, test, deployment and continual optimisation
Working as part of a permanent feature team with end-to-end ownership of services
Designing, building, testing and implementing microservices-based solutions
Collaborating to improve engineering practices, tooling, automation and processes
Skills & Experience Required
Solid experience developing Java software solutions
Proven track record delivering well-tested, production-grade applications
Strong understanding of microservices architectures and associated engineering requirements
Experience working in an agile environment with CI/CD delivery pipelines
Ability to implement engineering best practice around security, performance, availability and observability
A strong grounding in modern software engineering principles and customer-focused delivery
